FAQ’s
If your roof has green or black patches, thick moss growth, or streaks running down the tiles, it’s likely time for a clean. You may also notice bits of moss falling into your gutters or garden.
Yes. We assess every roof before starting and use gentle, non-damaging methods like soft washing or low-pressure steam. Older roofs are cleaned with extra care to preserve the materials.
Absolutely. We work around solar panels safely and carefully. We never interfere with the wiring or fittings, and we can also clean around and beneath panels where moss tends to build up.
It depends on the surroundings, weather, and roof material, but most clients enjoy several years of cleaner tiles. We also apply treatments that help prevent moss and algae from returning quickly.
Yes. We can schedule annual or bi-annual gutter clearing and check-ups to keep your roof and gutters in top condition. It’s an easy way to stay ahead of problems.
We use a combination of manual moss removal, soft washing, and biocide treatments. We avoid pressure washing unless it is absolutely suitable for the tile type, which is very rare for domestic roofs.
Yes. If requested, we’re happy to take photographs so you can see the difference – especially helpful if you can’t view the roof from ground level.

We always check the weather in advance and will contact you if conditions aren’t suitable. Light rain usually doesn’t affect the work, but heavy rain or strong winds may cause a delay for safety reasons.
Yes. When gutters are full, water can overflow and soak the edges of your roof or leak into your walls. This can cause damp, wood rot, and structural issues over time.
Not with us. We use equipment designed to contain the mess and always clean up after ourselves. Your garden paths, driveway and patio will be left just as we found them.
It depends on our schedule, but we can usually arrange an appointment within a week or two. During busy seasons, such as autumn and spring, there may be slightly longer wait times.
Not necessarily. As long as we have access to the outside of your property, we can complete the work without you being present. We’ll always keep you informed before and after the job.
Yes. We are fully insured for all work, including roof access and exterior cleaning. Your property is protected in the unlikely event of an accident.
Prices vary depending on the size of your home and the condition of the roof or gutters. We offer free, no-obligation quotes with clear pricing and no hidden charges.
